The St. George Musical Theater is a fairly new community theater about one block from the Historic Brigham Young home and uses local actors of all ages.

Our mission: to nurture talent, provide entertaining and educational experiences, and produce quality opera productions within the Southern Utah Community. Freaky Friday is a musical with music and lyrics by Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey, and a book by Bridget Carpenter.This version was developed for licensing by Disney Theatrical Productions and is based on the 1972 book of the same name by Mary Rodgers and its 1976 and 2003 film adaptations. It is a small four sided theater with about four rows of seats on each side of the stage area. Various plays and event were staged in these building. The first public building built by the settlers was the St. George Hall. From dress rehearsals and panel discussions with artists to backstage tours and more, take part in unique experiences while supporting St. George Opera. The St. George Social Hall & Opera House was restored and became part of the Pioneer Center for the Arts, completed in 1996.
